Model mic-100
Overview:
The micro instruments model mic-100 is a micro processor based vibrating wire sensor read-out unit The readout meter can measured and display period, frequency, frequency square and value of the Measured parameter in engineering units. (kg, kg/cm2, µe{micro-strain}, ton, mm, 0c).
sensors provided with a YSI 4405 or dale 1C3001-B3 or ALPHA 13A 3001-B 3k ohms Thermistor. The temperature can be displayed directly in 0c. The model mic-100 vibrating wire indicator
with non volatile 8kb ram can stored 100 nos, of transducers 770 reading .or 7 reading of each transducer. Every reading stored with date and time. The stored reading can uploaded to a computer
using RS232 serial communication interface.

TECHNICAL SPECIFATION
1. INPUT:
Suitable for micro instruments make ,two wire, vibrating wire transducers or any other make transducers with 100 ohm to 150 ohm sensor coil .Thermistors provided with a YSI 4405 or dale 1C3001-B3 or ALPHA 13A 3001-B 3k ohms.
2. FREQUENCY MEASUREMENT:
Range : 500Hz to 5000Hz
3. TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT:
(Only for sensor provided 3k ohm thermistor)
Measurement range : -200c to + 500c, resolution:- 10c
4. DISPLAY:
LCD dot matrix 16*1 alphanumeric display.
Red Led provided for battery low indication.
5. KEYBOARD:
16 key environmentally sealed membrane keypads. Keys are multiple function. Primary key function and numerical values are marked on keys.
6. ENGINEERING UNITS DISPLAY:
Standard units are µe(micro strain), ksc(kg/cm2), kg, t, mm, m, c & degree.
7. MEMORY:
8kb non volatile Ram(NV-RAM) data memory. Data memory provides non volatile storage of 100 transducer calibrations constants and 770 sets of time stamped data readings. Each data set consists of one parameter reading and corresponding temperature reading (for VW sensors and integral thermistor sensors only) together with date & time data was stored.

Operating temp.0 range : 0 to 45 0c
Operating humidity range: 10% to 90% (no condensation)
9. REAL TIME CLOCK:
A Real Time Clock is provided for time and date stamping of stored data. RTC time keeping tolerance: 2min/month, typical, over the operating temp.0 range with indicator powered on.
10. RS-232 SERIAL PORT:
RS-232C serial output is provided to connect the indicator to a IBM compatible PC.
11. HOUSING:
2mm thick Aluminum sheet housing(200mm[L]*160mm[B]*125mm[H]), plastic powder coated, fully covered with a safety lock. A carrying bag is also provided for easy transportability.
